  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Kogi State Central Senatorial election has been declared as the authentic winner of the February Senatorial election in Kogi Central by the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal. This was as the tribunal nullified the victory of Senator. Abubakar Ohere as the winner of the election. The Tribunal Chairman, Justice K. A. Orjiako who read the unanimous judgment of the 3-man panel, said Ohere results were inflated in 9 polling units of Ajaokuta LGA while that of Natasha was intentional reduced in the same 9 polling units by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Ward Collation officers. He also stated that 3 other polling units results was deliberately not entered for Natasha in the same LGA.  For once, residents of a small community in Zamfara State have had one back at the bandits who have been oppressing them for years. After enduring endless taxation, beating, kidnapping and other forms of harassment from the gunmen who have turned the once peaceful state into a terror axis, residents of Birnin Magaji, recently decided to bare their own fangs at the terrorists. The gunmen had recently carried out a fresh raid in the area kidnapping some residents for ransom. But while the terrorists were busy counting the hours and days for the ransom to come, youths in the village intercepted wives of the bandits including a pregnant woman who were on transit, according to online publication, PR Nigeria.   The outgoing Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo says it is an aberration to appoint a Minister of State. He stated this while making a speech during a valedictory session chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday. Citing some portions of the constitution, Keyamo, however, noted that his observation was not out of ingratitude but as his contribution to the nation’s constitutional development.
