 WELCOME ADDRESS BY MR. PETER ISAH, THE CHAIRMAN FOR KOGI YOUTH ENLIGHTENMENT INITIATIVE [KYEI]; AT THE  INAUGURATION OF THE FIVE THOUSAND [5000] PEACE AMBASSADORS, 24th April, 2021. On behalf of the leadership and the entire membership of KYEI, I welcome you all to this historic occasion. I especially welcome our Governor and all the members of his entourage that have honoured our invitation to participate in this special event. We are particularly thankful to our royal fathers that are able to make it here in spite of the short notice. We are indeed in a new dawn in Kogi state. What we are doing here today was unthinkable just few years ago. Fellow ambassadors, for eight [8] years, It has been my honour to serve as your leader. I would ask for an opportunity someday ahead to share some thoughts on the journey that we travelled together as the members of Kogi Youth Enlightenment Initiative.  THE OUTCOMES OF THE IYLA MEETING HELD ON THE 17TH APRIL, 2021 AT SAFARI HOTELS LOKOJA. The meeting kicked off at 1600hrs and was attended by our speaker; Rt. Hon. Ojoachele Akor felix, The Director of Media & Publicity, Odaudu Wada Isah and three [3] Coordinators from; Dekina, Comrade Justin Daikwo, Ankpa; Comrade Monday Audu Mameh, Ibaji; Luke Udeh. The Speaker of the Assembly during the welcome address thanked the aforementioned coordinators especially for Monday Audu Mameh and Udeh Luke whom according to their resilient spirit of sacrifice, dedication and elated-ness came all the way from Ankpa and Ibaji to graced the auspicious meeting organised so as to reach some major, general and far reaching decisions on IYLA's activities beyond 2023.  CAN Press Statement  RE: NSCIA ACCUSES CAN OF CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY OVER SHORTLISTED JUSTICES OF THE COURT OF APPEAL: A REBUTTAL Our attention has been drawn to a Press Statement issued by the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) where the Council used vulgar, immature language and unprintable words to describe the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in its bid to justify the obvious lopsided appointments of the Federal Government in favour of its members. The Council was smart by half when it picked an example of just one arm of Government without addressing the totality of fundamental questions on all the arms of government.
