ONUH IYALE: THE KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT RATIFIED THE NOMINATION OF CHIEF IDRIS WADA AKOGU AS THE NEXT ONUH OF IYALE (AIDUU!)

The Iyale Chiefdom is made up of four (4) ruling houses viz: The Okoliko clan, The Ihianyi clan, The Itakwuhia clan and The Obaje clan.

-HRH David Akowe Ogbadu was from the Okoliko clan.

-Chief Wada Akogu is from the Ihianyi clan,

-Atuluku was from the Itakwuhia Clan.

The last occupant of the throne Engr. Thomas Idajili was of the Obaje Amana-Edeh clan which has  produced more kings than the rest clans.
The next Onuh of Iyale, Chief Idris Wada Akogu is from the Ihianyi clan.

The approval of the outstanding Technocrat and foremost Educationist, Chief Idris Wada Akogu as the Onuh-Iyale, by Governor Yahaya Bello on the October 21, 2021 to fill the rotund and apparel vacant royal stool of the Onuh of Iyale through the apical royal and the ancestral lineage of Òbugò enclave as domiciled in Ihianyi Clan.

This quintessential glamored declaration by the Kogi state government, is coming after the exit of the late Onuh of Iyale, Engr. Thomas Idajili (CORBON), who transitioned to the great beyond after an auto-crash that unavoidably claimed his life along the Iyale-Anyigba Road.

The versatile Classroom Teacher, Chief Idris Wada Akogu, with his quondam and cognate strides in teaching profession has churned out many first school leavers than most of educational contemporaries of his days. He first started out as a dedicated and delectable positive community opinion moulder for all people especially the youth for many year standing.

A pathfinder and archetype of exceptional educational feat to wit cum prodigious excellent background, has characteristically, fortunately and wondrously transversed across the Teaching profession and the SUBEB of the Kogi State Ministry of Education as both an erstwhile Teacher and currently as a Senior Administrator with same.

Chief Idris Wada Akogu's monumental rise and transformation into the status of an Educational Administrator at the state level from the four walls of the Teaching profession in Primary school, as a notable jocular Senior Teacher then was an amazing non-phantom truest calling into the service of our fatherland of disproportionate reality that had held many people in awe especially his Primary  School colleagues in a non-atomic celebratory mode.

Chief Idrisu Wada Akogu, as one of our own pride and respected former primary school Instructors, has been an all round, workaholic, memorable, decent and disciplined Academia just like our own late Primary School English Teacher, Mr. Joshua Ataguba whose academic lifestyle wasn't different from our ad hominem foremost Picasso and the respected Marcus Cicero of blessed memories.

Mr. Joshua Ataguba was an undeniable and distinguished Orator but who wasn't discovered as a philosopher except for few of us, before, during and after his death, May his soul rest in peace.

The next Onuh of Iyale having been approved by the state government through due diligence, now has to undergo the traditional autochthonous of Iyale Chiefdom through our 'Traditional figurine process of Ayidoko-Anya' at the Royal Palace of the Attah of Igala in the ancient cradle of civilisation at Igala home, Idah in fulfilment of the traditional and cultural ceremonies for the wearing of the non-decimated and valuable Ayegba Om'Idoko toga and beads, to be announced at a future date under the eminent rulership of the newly appointed Attah of Igala, HRM Mathew Alhaji Opaluwa who just returned triumphantly from the successful hunting expedition.

OPEN LETTER : GOVERNOR ODODO'S INTERVENTION ON THE ARREST OF COMRADE USMAN AUSTIN OKAI IS SACROSANCT The name of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has gained traction and continued to dominate positive conversations on the social and the conventional news media as a Peace Ambassador, Servant Leader and a born Unifier given his antecedents on prompt payment of salaries, arrears and other emoluments for workers and the retired civil servants of Kogi State.  Your Excellency, Sir, I have been around the men and  women of authority in governance, at the corridor of power and at the helm of affairs within and outside Kogi State and for sure, it is not easy and rosy to be the Governor of Kogi State which is undoubtedly the microcosm of Nigeria given her heterogeneous nature and the borders it shares with ten (10) other sub-nationals in about three (3) sub-regions of South East, South-South and South West including other States within her own North Central geopolitical z...

ABENEMI’S CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF KOGI SDP: A FARCE?

ABENEMI’S CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF KOGI SDP: A FARCE? The situation regarding the caretaker committee established by the SDP in Kogi state is beginning to shift, as the presiding judge has decided to return the case to the Chief Judge (CJ) for reassignment to a substantive judge once the judicial vacation ends. This decision is significant because, upon reassignment, the new judge will set a fresh date for the hearing, which, according to reports, may be sometime in October or November. Until then, all parties must maintain the status quo, meaning, Hon. Moses Peter will continue as the chairman, and the caretaker committee's actions will be rendered ineffective, making all their decisions null and void. In terms of the upcoming elections, this implies that: - The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) will be legally bound to recognize Moses Peter as the party chairman and work with him on all electoral matters. - Candidates not presented to KOSIEC through the office ...
