 RAMADAN: SDP HOSTS AN IFTAR DINNER AT EID GROUND IN GANAJA VILLAGE 



The Leaders and members of the Social Democratic Party at Ganaja Village in Ajaokuta LGA decently concluded today's 26th fasting during this month of Ramadan.




 All the Leaders and members including the women who have been helping the SDP political communities across the LGA were also present.


The feat recorded for Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka during the November Governorship Elections of 2023 also came to the front burner.






SDP hosted an Iftar dinner celebrating the Muslim holy month of Ramadan at the GANAJA EID GROUND.


The Iftar is the evening meal after sunset that concludes the daily fasting during the month of Ramadan.


 SDP has gathered the Observers of this fasting around Ganaja village with their families, loved ones, and the members of communities to break their fast together. 


The leadership of SDP believes the Iftar dinner and Ramadan are a time to reflect on humanity and to reaffirm commitments to helping the less fortunate.

Today's remarkable breaking of fasting was SDP's first Iftar dinner at the Eid Ground in Ganaja Village. This year, in addition to inviting members of the SDP, members of the muslim community, and other well meaning individuals were also on ground. 


There was a special focus on the preaching of peace and unity amongst the members of the community irrespective of religious and cultural differences.


Speaking at the dinner was the SDP's North Central Auditor and The Director General of Interparty Relation For Muri Sam Campaign 2023, Hon. Lawal Egbolo stated that the annual Iftar was a reminder that "whatever our faith, we're all one family."





He stated further that "Our Iftar is also a reminder of the freedoms that bind us together as Kogites, including the freedom of religion -- that inviolable right to practice our faiths freely.


The Political Youth Ambassador of Ganaja Community and it's environs;  Hon. Dans Bobo also recognized several young Muslims and women present who have been making an impact here in Ganaja and around the Ajaokuta LGA. He applauded the 2023 Governorship candidate of SDP, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka who had put himself forward with the determination to defend the right of the oppressed people of Kogi state by the past administration.

During this sacred month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest wishes to all Muslim faithful. May your fasting and prayers be filled with blessings, peace, and spiritual fulfillment.


In this time of reflection and devotion, I kindly ask for your prayers for our principal, lawyers, supporters, and members who are steadfastly working to reclaim our stolen mandate. Your prayers hold immense power and strength, and together, may we find the courage and guidance to overcome any challenges we face.


Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Ramadan filled with mercy, forgiveness, and unity.

    Comrade Muhammed Abubakar Narto, expressed joy over the breaking of fasting by the SDP's families in Ajaokuta LGA. He urged all present to spread the messages of hope and happiness across Ajaokuta LGA. He sought Allah in prayers to give Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka wisdom and good health for the task ahead. 


Political stalwart and grassroot mobiliser of Ajaokuta LGA; Alhaji Baba Ali also sent his message  of peace and unity for the sustainability of maximum freedom in Ajaokuta  LGA. He noted that Peace binds us together. His message  reflected on the way forward for all faiths and asked those present to rallied around the members of SDP in their communities and reminded them that we all owe the obligation to care for one another which must be extended beyond our immediate communities and it's borders. 


Hon. Haruna Nemiji as the SDP's frontline leader in Ajaokuta LGA in a message delivered on his behalf reminded all those present that we must not be carried away by all the challenges we face daily as a people. He called on all the supporters of SDP to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, discipline, and patience in all their dealings. 


Hon. Nemiji stated that we don’t simply endure, but we overcome. Together, we can overcome ignorance and prejudice. Together, we will overcome conflict and injustice -- not just with words, but with deeds. 


Hon. Haruna Nemiji ended his remarks wishing Muslims in Ganaja village and around the world a blessed Ramadan and prosperous Sallah celebrations in Advance.
