Former member representing Igalamela/Odolu State Constituency has  just addressed a press Conference to announce they have decamped to APC.at APC National Secretariat,Abuja.

Friday Makama last week meet with Kogi state govenor who is aspiring to be president on the need for harmonious working relationship after a deal was negotiated through personality in APC National Headquarters.

Makama agreed to join APC is not far from the fact that Govenor Yahaya Bello has refused to pay the former lawmaker his entitlement, despite Supreme Court ruling that reinstate him, OBSERVERS TIMES recalled that, the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2019  ordered the immediate payment of all outstanding salaries and allowance of the member representing Igalamela Odolu Constituency, Comrade Friday Sani Manama. The Assembly had on Tuesday 28th March, 2017 suspended the lawmaker on matters relating to anti-legislative activities.

This followed a matter of public importance in the House raised by Hassan Abdullahi Bello of Ajaokuta Constituency, who accused Makama of bringing the image of the House to public disrepute. The lawmaker dragged the Assembly to court for allegedly defying the House rules on election of Minority Leader and his subsequent suspension. The apex court in its ruling on Friday ordered his reinstatement of Makama into the House and also awarded one million naira each to all the parties involved in the matter.
