 PROF OKPANACHI AS A HIGH-RATED INTELLECTUAL AND MERCURIAL GURU

 Odaudu Wada Isah as the Founder and the Chief Editor of an online news platform tagged : 'The Ototonobi News Planets' writes this article to celebrate the birthday of a man of many years standing as an academically sound  maestro and intellectual Iroko; Professor Joshua Okpanachi who is currently the Head of department of Accounting & Finance at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna state.

   The personal mien and lifestyles of Professor Joshua Okpanachi can quickly be appreciated positively in a few minutes through an error free broad based intellectual spectrum as a convivial and congenial academic expert.

Professor Joshua Okpanachi also known as 'Brigadier Lato' would go down in history as the first Kogite who hailed from Iyale in Dekina LGA to be elevated after excruciating academic and intellectual hard labour into the rank of Professor of Accounting and finance effective from the 1st of October, 2017 by the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy [NDA], Kaduna State.

  The terrific academic guru was an all seasoned, serial and the most successful educationally minded icon. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in Accounting and Finance with incomparable and incredible background in his chosen profession, all  from the well known and reverred Amodu Bello University Zaria. He has intimidating credentials to his credit of many years standing. 

  He is always good at everything he puts his mind to. He has always gone above and beyond the expectations of a great driver. I got marvelled at the expertise at which he steamed his car one day while Eneojo Yahaya Kogi and myself were travelling with the doyen of Accounting and Finance on an impromptu journey to attend the burial of his friend at Ekpoma in Edo state. We have zeroed our minds of not attending the wedding of Mr. Ogula Wada in Iyale that same day.

It was my first day of travelling with him on such a long journey. I was less worried later after we took off and very sure of attending the wedding given the pace and expertise at which he drove the car on that day. It was early in the morning after the usual Islamic Subhi (dawn) prayers. We arrived safely in Ekpoma and left Edo state later by noon. we sped back home safely from Ekpoma. We arrived in Iyale at about 4:30pm the same day and we were happy to have graced the wedding event that almost held us in awe and wonderments. It was on  that day I personally tagged him the Nigerian Version of James Bond [007] given his rare and easy style of driving. Should we failed to attend the wedding that day, we would have been uncovered as people known and taken for deceptions and betrayals. That is by the way.

It was one penultimate Saturday that I ran into one of his students in Abuja who made an incredible, stunning and impressionable revelations to me about Professor Joshua Okpanachi. He said Prof Joshua is a man who usually go beyond the call of duty and that any student in need can access him during office hours and virtually if not found in the office. He is resourceful. He knows his materials.Teaches the materials well. He Understands the students and Respects them. He sets high expectations for all students. He is creative too. 

Professor Joshua Okpanachi as a social butterfly has won the hearts of almost all the youths of his village and beyond through border-less friendship spirit defined by sheer benevolency and magnanimity.

He knows his onion as a man of great influence with boundless connection. He has used his influence to secure admissions and jobs for so many people from Iyale and other places.

He is happily married with children to Mrs. Joy Paul Edino.

Happy birthday to you Prof! as our own cherished and loved telepathic big brother.

I know and believe that you hold forte in Accounting and finance with the willpower and readiness to break new ground in your chosen endeavours.
