~IYALE AREA FORUM PAYS COURTESY VISIT ON THE ONUH OF IYALE AT HIS PALACE IN ATE-IYALE


The frontline Leadership of Iyale Area Forum paid a special homage on the Onuh of Iyale, HRH CHIEF IDRIS WADA AKOGU in his palace. The Foremost Group which has been Uniting Indigenes of Iyale Town both ahome and diaspora was led by her present indefatigable and Pragmatic President; Sir Seidu Amodu. 

While speaking to The Royal father, The President fervently prayed that "any good thing that is yet to happen in Iyale would happen during his reign while on the throne of his ancestors. He appealed for  unity between all the indigenes irrespective of status and class while also praying that some of the youth whose heads are yet to come down,; may God pour water on their heads so that they become obedient and law abiding to doing things rightly according to the right and acceptable social norms and values available. 


He also averred that; "In our days while we were living in Iyale; our major focus then was on how to outsmart our mates while in the pursuits of knowledge and not in the intake of all forms of drugs as we are witnessing today, which is completely different from our own days as youth in this community."

 The President of The Forum also took the Royal father on a memorylane especially during the foundation laying ceremony of The ongoing Construction of the Iyale Police Station, stating that "the project is a project of The Iyale Area Forum and that the leadership under him had strongly appealed to other associations especially those with connection to Iyale under different arrangements especially in Lagos, Lokoja, Kano, Jos, Abuja and other places to join heads and hands with us in order for the the project to quickly see the light of the day after several past governments in the past were unable to do the needful given the importance of the project to us and our community."

"The People of Iyale at the  home front have contributed   blocks and sand owned by them, these rare supports have fastracted the project to it's present stage" the president added.

The Members of the forum that accompanied the President on this visit are Barrister Ibrahim Usman, Engr Abdul Zakari, Elder Anthony Akubo, 

The Forum's secretary, Engr Ukumonu Basil Ocheni, Engr Emmanuel Omede, The Forum's Assistant secretary, Mr Joseph Isaac Ocholi on who described Iyale Area forum as the pace setter tasked to leading from the front while others are expected to follow. He affirmed in his submission that the love and unity demonstrated in iyale Area forum is unspeakable maintaining that Iyale Area forum is a 'pivotal instrument' meant for Iyale Area developmental stride to be made possible.

The highlight of the visit was presentation of symbolic gifts with powerful love connotation onbehalf of Iyale Area Forum to the Chief at his Ofanugba palace in Ate-Iyale. 

The Royal father in his response thanked the leaders and members of this group for been proactive and steadfast over all matters that border on development beyond measures. He prayed that God in his infinite mercy blessed all the heads and hands that are involved on this current construction of the police station.
