~YPP KOGI EAST'S SENATORIAL CANDIDATE HON. SUNDAY ABBAH ABDUCTED BY GUNMEN IN OFU


 2023: The Abducted Kogi East's Senatorial Candidate: Hon. Sunday Abbah.

 
The Young Progressives Party's 2023 Senatorial candidate for Kogi East during the next general elections, Hon. Sunday Abbah was abducted by gunmen on their way to a crusade.


The seasoned pastor turned influential politician was reportedly kidnapped on Friday along the Ochadamu-Okele along Ejule Road in Ofu LGA.

The Pastor was going to minister at a three day crusade but has ended up in captivity in the hands of his abductors.


The gunmen demanded a ransom of N80 million for their release.

The Young Progressives Party's State Youth Leader, Hon. Abdul-Aziz Muhammed Makolo who confirmed the news to ototonobinews.com disclosed that the frontline leaders of the party especially it's state Chairman, Hon. Sir (Dr.) Victor O. Akubo King; have not lost hope but confidently on their knees begging God for his quick release.

The Secretary of the party, Mr. Komolafe Segun David also stated that Hon. Abbah Sunday is a candidate to beat and that the leaderships of the party from top to down have trusts on the abductee to defeat all other candidates of parties during the next general elections upon his quick and safe release from captivity.

Hon. Sunday Abbah successfully became the candidate of the party after the conduct of it's primaries on the June 4th, 2022 in Lokoja in line with party's extant laws, electoral guidelines and constitution.
