CHIEF DRISU WADA AKOGWU COMMENDS GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO OVER THE APPOINTMENT OF DR. ZAKARI USMAN AS THE COMMISSIONER OF HEALTH

The Onuh Of Iyale has on-behalf of the Elders, youth groups and stakeholders from Iyale ward in Dekina LGA, commended the Governor of Kogi state on the appointment of Dr. Zakari Usman as the Kogi State's Commissioner of health.

The Iyale top monarch who stated; 'Iam happy and honoured that our own result oriented Medical Doctor has been successfully appointed and sworn into office as the Commissioner for the Ministry of health by the detribalized Governor of our dear state. He had in a statement expressed confidence in the ability of Dr. Zakari Usman, whom he said through the supports and cooperation of our Governor shall drive the development and empowerment of the state's health infrastructures and the medical workers alike for optimal performance.

He also called on the newly sworn Commissioner to take sound decisions on various issues affecting the people and critical health infrastructures of the state.

The king thanked the Governor for his spirits of oneness and kindness, stating that Dr. Zakari Usman no doubt shall create a template on which his administration shall add meaningful and positive health services to the state health sector more than expected by him.

He also expressed optimism that the new Commissioner in his previous capacity as the Chief Medical Director of Hospital Management Board has never left the state government and anyone in doubt. He prayed that he shall achieve alot for our dear state by his grace.
