The former Kogi State's Accountant General and the PDP's Senatorial Aspirant on Sunday, July 10, 2022 sent his warmest greetings to Muslims celebrating Eid ul-Adha around Kogi state and Kogi East Senatorial district in particular, calling it " a part of our rich history and cultural heritage.
Elder (Dr.) Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi also stated that we thank God for our rich cultural tolerance that encourages the practice of many traditions.
"I wish all Muslims a blessed and joyful celebrations, Dr. Ubolo said.
Eid is being celebrated on Saturday with wide collection of Muslim families from different homes after nearly three months of the ending the fasting of Ramadan with lavish feasts and attending services at the Eid across Kogi East and beyond.
During the past months, Muslims have honoured their faith through prayer, sacrifice and spent time with loved ones, Dr. Ubolo added.
Dr. Ubolo charged Muslims in Kogi east and Kogi state in general to continue to preach and be the Ambassadors of peace in their day to day activities.
