POLITICS: HON. JUSTICE OKPANACHI CONDEMNS POLITICAL CRISIS AT OLOGBA IN DEKINA LGA; SAYING VIOLENCE IS NOT POLITICS


HON. JUSTICE OKPANACHI; FORMER DEKINA-BIRAIDU HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ASPIRANT 

 The former kogi State's house of Assembly aspirant for DEKINA-BIRAIDU Constituency has vehemently condemned the acts of violence at Ologba in Dekina LGA of Kogi state on July 3rd, 2022. 

The Benevolent political icon stated politics is not violence while reacting to the incidence.

He averred "I condemned in all entirety the attack that occurred in Ologba, Dekina local government Area of Kogi state.

Hon. Justice Okpanachi from reliable sources was told that; "The attack was unprovoked  and  unfortunate and was carried out during PDP's members meeting By APC's thugs.

"I want to state that this is not politics and violence is in no way an attribute of democracy", he added. 

Why the violence? This is despicable given the fact that we are all one, we are brothers and sisters, this sort of thing should not be coming from us. 

However, I want to state categorically that this act will not be condoned, the perpetrators will be fished out and they shall face the full wrath  of the law.

As a law abiding former aspirant and member of our party, I want to urge my party members to be calm and not to take the laws into their hands, they should allow the relevant security authorities to do their job. 

Though, while I state that we are law abiding, we have the capacity to defend ourselves if this sort of unprovoked attack happens again.
