Barr. Abdullahi Haruna SAN has mourned the demise of the former Director-General/Chief Executive, National Space Research and Development Agency, Prof Seidu Onailo Mohammed Ogah who passed away on Monday 8 August 2022 at the age of 62.

SAN described the passing of the professor of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System, Mohammed Ogah as a colossal loss not only to Nigeria but to the global Space Sciences at large.

He noted that Prof Mohammed Ogah not only distinguished himself as a Geo-Science scholar but committed scientist whose tremendous contributions have led to the implementation of the Space Programme in Nigeria noting that under his astute leadership as the DG, NARSDA, Nigerian three Satellites were launched.
