"the new teaching Hospital project called the ultramodern clinical complex is a Y-shaped three winged one story building completed and awaiting commissioning for use standing aesthetically and majestically on our premises. It brings the beauty of a new bride with a nostalgic splendour of working in a true teaching hospital. It's ambience is nothing other than an optical soothing balm to the aches of a new patient. It is a footprint of his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, a white lion that brazed his trail here within a record period of less than one (1) year which has significantly addressed one of our major infrastructural deficits.
Those in attendance are; the Permanent Secretary and the Directors of Kogi state Ministry of health; the Chief Medical Director of the Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, Anyigba, The Chief Medical Director of the Specialist Hospital Lokoja, The Acting Chief Medical Director Of the Kogi state Health Management Board, The Provost of the Kogi State College of Nursing Obangede, The Provost Kogi State College of Health Technology Idah, The Executive Director of the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency and the Executive Secretary of the State Health Insurance Agency.
