GOWON TO PUSH THE POLITICAL FRONTIER FOR AN ALL INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT AT THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY BEYOND 2023

This article offers a short overview of the historical political antecedents of Hon. Paul Gowon Idris Haruna as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress to represent good people of Dekina-Bassa  Federal Constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly. 

No doubt, he is a remarkable positive thinker full of generosity and the quests for growth and development of the people of Dekina and Bassa LGAs respectively. 

He was well respected and known to be a generous politician without border while serving as lawmaker at the Kogi State House of Assembly in 2011 and 2015. No place and no persons from anywhere in kogi state were yanked out of his political empowerment programmes while he heldsway as the Chairman of the House Committee on Chieftaincy Affairs. 

All those who came to him for assistance or support during the period were fairly treated with every sense of humour, humanity and respect.

Hon. Paul Gowon Idris Haruna had successfully in the past led several platforms that called for  priority to be given to an all inclusive economic and political development.



He is a man who believe that for a democracy to be the most popular and acceptable means of political power formation targeting the promotion of good governance in Nigeria, it must be associated positively with projects that border on social human empowerments and the protections of human rights. 

The vital part of his political intervention programme would be absolute deployment of proactive and smart economic development models for the people of Dekina-Bassa Federal Constituency when elected into the National Assembly in 2023.

 Hon. Paul Gowon Idris Haruna has the capacity and requisite knowledge of calling and engaging governments across board 

in order to entrench socioeconomic development platforms in line with all underlying socioeconomic conditions and justifications under a broader national priorities.


The above named personality as an impactful employer of labour and experienced businessman shall ensure while in the National Assembly that data driven approaches to promote tourism in Dekina-Bassa Federal Constituency are in line with their aesthetic natural beauties and cultural heritage for job creation and  revenue generations respectively.

All these things shall be vigorously pursued at the National Assembly.

Hon. Paul Gowon Idris Haruna is also aware that community economic development remains a strategic program to be looked at, given the fact that community or neighbourhood is always a focal point for developing human, social and physical resources particularly human and organisational must be the base for any development activity.

He shall proactively as a good manager of resources promote before members and leaders of the National Assembly, the ideas of building new resources from the basic local resources by repositioning these assets as the attractors of capitals attention at shifting Nigeria away from current status as a consuming Nation into a more desired status as producing nations for multiplicity of equal economic opportunities.

He shall lead a developmental inclusive frontier that will be accomplished by re-using local building to incubate local artists, entrepreneurs, artisans and other related strategies that restore pride and give our people more economic power to control their own economic destiny in order to promote the growth trajectory of our economic systems for more revenue generations.

It is a wonderful thing to note that IJN when supported by us would share and monitor the proceeds of the office for development without descent into personal political aggrandisement.
