PAAU ( KSU ) Alumni Associations Excos Denies Allegations of Cloning Account Says fund donated by Members Last year was used to purchase Toyota Hilux Van and 6 new motorcycles for the University Security unit as 2021 Alumni intervention.
The National Executive of Prince Abubakar Audu University ( PAAU ) Alumni Association formerly known as Kogi State University ( KSU ) Alumni Association has denied the allegations by faceless elements who made an online publication that the present Excos had cloned the association's Account.
It also said that funds used to purchase a Toyota Hilux Van and Six brand new motorcycles for the Security Unit of University to ease security patrol on campus was the association's dues collected and was part of the Alumni's 2021 intervention to the University.
In a statement signed by the National Secretary of the association Comrade Okeme Y Okeme after a NEC Meeting of the association in Lokoja. He Stressed that due process was followed in the procurement of those items donated to the University.
He further disclosed that the items were delivered to the university in good conditions.
The National Secretary emphasized that the online publication by the faceless individuals was aimed at causing disaffection among the committed members and stakeholders particularly as the association prepares for her Annual General Meeting AGM soon.
According to the association, a disciplinary Committee will be set up to sanctions members who engaged in spreading fake news and rumours in order to discredit the good Work of Mall Ibraheems Yahaya led administration.
Comrade Okeme enjoined members to be productive and good Ambassador of their Alma Matter by being productive and thinking of what to give back to their School rather than playing politics of pull him down syndrome.
