THE KOGI TWO BEST POLITICAL LEADERSHIP MODELS

The seasoned political watchers and many followers of the democratic activities around Nigeria according to Hon. Dans Bobo have openly and repeatedly at different fora, expressed their happiness and amazement over the simple lifestyles and the seizeless, positive and examplary spirits of brotherhood and friendship between the two current Kogi State's governance drivers in the persons of; H.E, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his four year's former and workaholic Chief of Staff turned the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja.

It is on the above un-detestable and undiluted premise that; Hon. Dans Bobo as one of the committed followers and supporters of the Kogi State's current Deputy Governor, couldn't hide his feelings and happiness about these two Leaders whom he had confessed to not have only helped to keep him motivated but have wonderfully shaped his personal political orientations over the years. It is my belief today that two cheerful and selfless people who trust and believe in themselves while occupying significant leadership positions at the corridor of governance can potentially breath some fresh air into the leadership space using their experiences and exposure. They could use same to also open impactful frontiers for the development and growth of their followers too. Such spirits of friendliness have facilitated the spread of gigantic infrastructures across the state as witnessed under the governor Yahaya Bello led administration with the support of the Deputy governor.

Hon. Dans Bobo also stated the constant productive and convivial relationship between the duo have helped the promotion of other relevant critical sectors of the state thereby leading to the improvement of peace and unity across the state.

Hon. Dans Bobo also said that the two leaders are very  intelligent and hardworking who are well armed with the right visions and readiness to grow the economy of the state by judiciously husbanding the natural and human resources available to create wealth and jobs for the teeming youths. Under their leadership the long abandoned crude oil deposit in Ibaji LGA was accessed and put to good use thereby qualifying our dear state as the first northern region's state to be named the first oil producing state; something which hitherto was only heard for other southern states but never seen in Kogi state. Under these amazing personalities our own state has met the  federal government's criteria for the state to now not only enjoy the much talked about 13% oil derivation but well positioned for other benefits therein.

Hon. Dans Bobo has also prayed for God to keep together the two political Maestro in happiness and friendship for our state to benefit more.

I hope our state would not remain the same under them as various opportunities within the state will be exploited to create prosperity, mass employment and better life for the people, Hon. Dans Bobo has also added.

We are happy to have them said; Dans Bobo Oma Edward Onoja.

ABENEMI’S CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF KOGI SDP: A FARCE?

ABENEMI’S CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF KOGI SDP: A FARCE? The situation regarding the caretaker committee established by the SDP in Kogi state is beginning to shift, as the presiding judge has decided to return the case to the Chief Judge (CJ) for reassignment to a substantive judge once the judicial vacation ends. This decision is significant because, upon reassignment, the new judge will set a fresh date for the hearing, which, according to reports, may be sometime in October or November. Until then, all parties must maintain the status quo, meaning, Hon. Moses Peter will continue as the chairman, and the caretaker committee's actions will be rendered ineffective, making all their decisions null and void. In terms of the upcoming elections, this implies that: - The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) will be legally bound to recognize Moses Peter as the party chairman and work with him on all electoral matters. - Candidates not presented to KOSIEC through the office ...
