 PAAU Alumni Congratulates Prof. Yakubu Ochefu on his Victory as the New National Chairman of  Alumni Associations Umbrella body CAANU.

The PAAU Alumni Association Worldwide has Congratulated Prof. Yakubu Ochefu on his  emergence as the National Chairman of Conference of Alumni Associations of Nigerian Universities CAANU.

In statement personally signed by the National President, PAUU Alumni Association, Mall . Ibraheems Yahaya in Lokoja, said the victory of Prof Ochefu in CAANU election that took place at the Bayero University, Kano, was well deserved.

He said the victory was in view of his contributions and commitment to the association over the years.

Mall. Ibraheens expressed confidence that Prof Ochefu would deliver on his promises. 

Mall. Yahaya also eulogies the immediate past National Chairman , Prof. Ahmed Tijjani Mora mni, and former ABU Alumni President for setting a standard worthy of emmulation .

The Convention which produced new Executive to pilots the affairs of the Association for the next four years had Prof . Yakubu Aboki Ochefu , the current University of Calabar Alumni President as National Chairman, Mall. Usman Isah Yau , Gombe State University Alumni President as National Secretary  and Mr. Theophilus Ayatse , President of University of Mkar Alumni Association as Treasurer among others.

Mall. Yahaya finally salutes the immediate past Deputy National Chairman , Mr. Uthman Tajudeen for his leadership role provided so far and  his display of sportsmanship in the last election and enjoined all members to support the new National Excos to succeed.
