 Inspiring Walimat-ul-Quran Ceremony At Ganaja, Community In Ajaokuta LGA 

Our son, Abdulazeez Ogula Wada Salifu lighten up the moods of the guests with a recitation of Suratul Mumin in the Glorious Quran, showcasing his impressive fluency. 



The organiser is the Madarasatul Kidaya of Late Sheikh Abdullahi Maitafsir Ajobe Ganaja Village Branch Ajaokuta Kogi State.

The School has celebrated another significant milestone today with its Annual Walimat-ul-Quran Ceremony, a scholarly event  that illuminated the achievements of its students and the school's dedication to Islamic teachings.


The ceremony, which marks the completion of a Certificate Course in Quran Reading, brought together parents, teachers, and community leaders from far and near in a joyous and spiritually uplifting gathering.

The event that took place at the Kidaya Madarasatul's Premises on Road 2, High Tension, Ganaja Village.

The Madarasatul's Representative, Alhaji  Hayatudeen Abdullahi, delivered an impassioned address, highlighting the importance of Quranic education in nurturing ethical values and spiritual growth among Muslim youths and the children alike.

The guests were immensely proud of our son, Abdulazeez Wada and the other pupils' perseverance and dedication. 

The path to acquiring Quran reading skills was very challenging for them and their parents, but as Muslims, they were guided by the sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that: 'The one who is skilled in reciting Qur'an will be with the noble, honourable scribes and the one who recites Qur'an and falters therein, and finds it difficult, will have a double reward' - Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim. 

The Parents thanked ALLAH Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for this monumental step in the spiritual journey of their.

The Chief Imam Ankpa and The Chairman of the Chief Imams in Kogi State, Sheikh Salman Adams admonished parents and custodians of the children to be committed to nurturing their children in their continued pursuit of knowledge and piety.

The ceremony was chaired by The Ankpa LGA's Chief Imam, Sheikh Imam Adams, It was graced by other eminent personalities as follows;

Former Member, House of Representatives For Ankpa/ Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Hon. Hassan Omala, The Former Chairman Ofu LGA, Barrister  Ndamodu Ali, Hon. Justice Yahaya Adamu, The Treasurer Of Jamatullahi Nasrul Islam Kogi State and The CIMCON's founding father, Alhaji M.K Audu and others were in attendance to add glamour and values to the event. The Onu Ajobe was present and He joyously gave the vote of thanks. 


Abdulazeez WADA is the son of our brother, Mr. Ogula Wada Salifu from Iyale, Dekina LGA.


The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of award on Leadership to Barr. Ndamodu Alih by The Representative Of The Governing Council of The Diamond Polytechnic, Ojoku  Ankpa LGA.
