POLITICAL SOLUTION CAN CRUMBLE THE FIASCO BETWEEN AKPABIO AND NATASHA IN SPLIT SECONDS

POLITICAL SOLUTION CAN CRUMBLE THE FIASCO BETWEEN AKPABIO AND NATASHA IN SPLIT SECONDS

The altercation between the two Senators is potentially turning one of our most revered institutions into a semblance of the fuji house of commotion where illegality and corruption are rife. The unfortunate thing is that both Senator Akpabio and Senator Natasha are more of Southern Political Enclave with the Kogi Central Senator's marriage to the Allema Of Warri; Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan while the President of the Senate is representing a senatorial district in Akwa Ibom State where he had once served for eight years as a Governor.

Are the rest of Southern Senators rallying round the Senate President to nip in the board the saga between the two Parliamentarians?

It is a matter that will escalate boundlessly if it is  handled with kid gloves.

All the Governors, Leaders of thought and Traditional rulers of the South-South Origin should get their axes together before the invitation to the Senator Akpabio's removal by the enemies of the South South scale through.

The political and legislative debacle between the 10th Assembly's Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio and Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan  representing the Kogi Central has threatened the peaceful coexistence of the National Assembly.

No political Legislative impasse since the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has  attracted nationwide condemnation and criticism than the current imbroglio between above named Senators who have enjoyed productive and convivial relationship for quite sometimes now.

Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan was the last Lawmaker to be inaugurated into the parliament after the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal and the appeal court case between  her and the then Kogi Central Senator Abubakar Sadiku Ohere ended in her favour. Thanks to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio who never capitalized on her as a "First Timer Status" and as a member of PDP but ensured that she supretended juicy Committees like Local Content and Diaspora.

What is booting and punching my grey matter now is How the two most closest Senators in the Nigerian Legislative history, who are old enough to be like father and daughter were unable to manage the subject matter of disagreements that have now become public knowledge.

Only God knows what the rest 107 Senators in Parliament are up to in the middle of this saga.

Interestingly, by my personal point; I have identified the political diabolical calculations meant for the overthrow of Senator Godswill Akpabio as a Senate President by a vested political interest in the National Assembly and their Collaborators alike especially those who are worried or uncomfortable with the Senate President's style of Leadership in the Senate.

I had known first as a Political Analyst and Commentator the potency of Political Solutions and now wished to recommend it to the National Assembly, Followers and Supporters of the two Senators to explore in order to extirpate the legislative saga between them.

The importance of a political solution in resolving conflicts between legislators cannot be overstated. When two legislators are at odds, it can have far-reaching consequences on the entire legislative body and the citizens they represent. A political solution can help to diffuse tensions, find common ground, and restore order to the legislative process.

When this conflict between the two legislators is left unresolved, it can lead to a breakdown in communication, mistrust, and ultimately, a lack of productivity of the red chamber. This can have serious consequences, including delayed or blocked legislation, which can negatively impact the lives of citizens.

A political solution, on the other hand, can help to

diffuse the tension by finding a mutually acceptable solution, legislators can reduce the tension and create a more constructive platform for dialogue.

A political solution can help the two distinguished legislators to identify areas of commonality and work towards a shared goal thereby resolving the conflict between the legislators in order  to restore order to the legislative process and ensure that the business of governance continues uninterrupted.

A recent example of the importance of a political solution can be seen in the debacle between the Plateau State legislators in Nigeria. The conflict, which arose from a dispute over election results, highlighted the need for a political solution to resolve the crisis.  The conflict demonstrated the importance of finding a political solution to resolve conflicts and ensure the smooth functioning of the legislative process.

To sum up, a political solution is essential in resolving the conflicts between two legislators. By finding a mutually acceptable solution, legislators can diffuse tensions, find common ground, and restore order to the legislative process. The proposal of political Solutions work faster and efficiently with commensurate sense of maturity.

"War is not a solution to any problem; it is an invitation to more problems. The only way to resolve conflicts is through dialogue, compromise, and a commitment to peaceful coexistence. A political solution is not just a preference, but a necessity for building a just, peaceful, and prosperous society."

ABENEMI’S CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF KOGI SDP: A FARCE?

ABENEMI’S CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF KOGI SDP: A FARCE? The situation regarding the caretaker committee established by the SDP in Kogi state is beginning to shift, as the presiding judge has decided to return the case to the Chief Judge (CJ) for reassignment to a substantive judge once the judicial vacation ends. This decision is significant because, upon reassignment, the new judge will set a fresh date for the hearing, which, according to reports, may be sometime in October or November. Until then, all parties must maintain the status quo, meaning, Hon. Moses Peter will continue as the chairman, and the caretaker committee's actions will be rendered ineffective, making all their decisions null and void. In terms of the upcoming elections, this implies that: - The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) will be legally bound to recognize Moses Peter as the party chairman and work with him on all electoral matters. - Candidates not presented to KOSIEC through the office ...
