SDP Meeting at Imane District Highlights Grassroots Unity and Leadership

Imane District, Olamaboro LGA – 17th August, 2025 – The Social Democratic Party (SDP) today held a strategic meeting at Imane District, aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and reinforcing the party’s commitment to progress and inclusiveness.




The meeting was proudly sponsored by Hon. Comr. Ibrahim Abubakar (Abu Ukoh), a visionary leader and former aspirant for both the Kogi State House of Assembly and the Chairmanship position. Abu Ukoh’s sponsorship once again underscores his dedication to empowering his people and advancing the cause of good governance through the SDP.

In his remarks, Abu Ukoh emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort, noting that true political progress begins at the grassroots level. His continued support for party activities has been widely commended by stakeholders and members alike.

The event was further enriched by the presence of Elder Kadiri Obida, Chairman of the SDP, whose leadership has been pivotal in maintaining party cohesion across Olamaboro and beyond. Elder Obida encouraged members to remain steadfast in their loyalty to the party, stressing that the SDP remains the most viable platform for delivering real change to the people.

The meeting featured robust discussions on party strategies, upcoming political activities, and the critical role of community engagement in ensuring the success of the party’s vision.
