 *YAHAYA BELLO, LOUIS XIV AND THE LIMITS OF ABSOLUTISM*   *By Tunde Olusunle*  Since he became governor in circumstances which remain fuzzy over seven years ago, Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has left no one in doubt about his totalitarian grip on the north central state. He is the be-all-and-end-all of the potentially rich, but pathetically indigent and decrepit state, whose style reminds of that of the infamous King Louis XIV in French history. Louis XIV it was who boastfully declared in 1655: *L'Etat, c'est moi,* meaning "I am the state; the state, that is me." That phrase denotes absolute monarchy and absolutism, the type Yahaya Bello has typified in his tour of duty as default governor of Kogi State. Do you know it’s ability to diagnose illness and prescribe medication will be more accurate than human medical doctors?  In the future we may not need humans as lawyers or medical doctors.  I just watched an Artificial Intelligence robotic medical doctor attending to a patient on Fox News this morning.  Just imagine programmed artificial intelligence army sent to Sambisa to confront Boko haram. Breaking !!! Court Strikes  out Suit Challenging the election of Mall. Ibraheems Yahaya as National President of PAAU Alumni Association. A High Court sitting in Anyigba today struck out a suit challenging the election of Mall Ibraheems Yahaya as the duely elected National President of Kogi State University Alumni Association now known as Prince Abubakar Audu University Alumni Association . Delivering the judgment today in a suit no  AYHC /10/2022 filled by Mr James Erikiti through his counsel Bar. G .O Salifu at the High Court , Anyigba, Hon. Justice F. Ajayi struck out the case for lack of merit after argument on a motion of preliminary objection raised by the counsel  to the  defendant . Reacting to the ruling in favour of Mall. Ibraheems Yahaya by the defendant counsel, Bar. Shuaibu Ibrahim expressed happiness stressing that the Judiciary was the last hope of common man.
