New Yam Festival: Lawal Idris, Kogi Federal Lawmaker Congratulates Ndigbo In Ganaja

A Federal Lawmaker, Rt. Honourable Lawal Idris has congratulated the Ibo community in Ganaja, Ajaokuta Federal Constituency and the entire Kogi state on the celebration of this year's new Yam Festival in the state held on Sunday, 9th October, 2021.

In a media statement, Rt. Hon. Idris commended the spirit of homely struggle on the part of Ibo extraction in Ganaja, Kogi state and by extension,the entire country.

He salute the courage of Ibo community for sustaining the age long tradition tied to the survival of their culture and tradition.

Hon. Idris said the significance of adhering to culture and tradition has alot of multiplier effects to the survival of all races.

He prayed that Almighty God will use the celebration to open more opportunities to Ibo extraction who are predominantly business men and women in the area and Kogi state at large

He declared and prayed for many more years of such occasions in good health and continuous celebrations.
