REBUTTAL: ELDER (DR.) UBOLO ITODO OKPANACHI (FCA) DEBUNKED THE RUMOURS OF HIS DEFECTION TO FOUR PARTIES BY POLITICAL DETRACTORS


 *TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT*:


Our attention has been drawn to an article titled:

as credited to the party's Divisional Chairman in Ofu LGA; Hon. Isah Alhassan, on behalf of the wards' chairmen. 


We are however not surprised because the diatribe as circulated in the media was a product of the same people who have resolved and sworn to rise against; Elder (Dr.) Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA) who has remained the only Man with the political pedigree and managerial acumen to lead Kogi East Senatorial district out of her current challenging state into a booming economic hub for the mutual benefit of Kogi state and Nigeria by extension.


These same people under the influence of selective amnesia have quickly forgotten that, Elder (Dr.) Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi (FCA) was one of the most influential and powerful political leaders, that used his wealth of knowledge and resources; while serving as the Accountant General of our dear state to strengthen the pillars and frontiers of the Peoples Democratic Party into a winning party in Ofu LGA, Kogi state and Nigeria by extension.


These political detractors working against Dr. Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA) have not rested on their oars at every opportunity to reel out information capable of working against him but let it known to the leaders of the party at the state; that these people are self serving politicians and do not have the interest of our party at heart.


We do hereby respond in strong terms after reading the article as follows;


(1) That it was not a statement of truth, that I, Dr. Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA) has defected from PDP to the four (4) aforementioned political parties under four months. The burden of proof is on them to proof where and when I pulled out of PDP.


(2) That I remain a peace loving politician with unquantifiable contributions to our party at the grassroot levels with a reward of solid support base.


(3) That the party shouldn't at this time be left in the hands of the political shenanigans especially now that we need to come together to harness the various areas of importance and common interests for the growth and development of our party in preparation for the next election of 2027. 


(4)The statement that Elder Dr Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi (FCA) is disowned by PDP is a statement that is from those serial pathological liars who don't mean well for the party.

Let it be on record that those rumour peddlers in our party are illiterates. 

The PDP constitution does not have anything as DISOWNING a member. A member may withdraw his membership by writing a letter, addressed to his ward Chairman; that he is withdrawing his membership. The said Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA), a leader in PDP of note and influence has never contemplated of withdrawing his membership. Hence Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA), the foremost leader in PDP in Ofu LGA is and will continue to be a member of PDP. 


Those that are scared of his being a member of PDP because of the light he carries are the people that  are writing those messes on the social media. 

We urge members of PDP to disregard the diversionary posture of none significant personalities writing meaningless articles on the social media.

Their main worry is that, Elder Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA) is not a personality that allows those traders in the party to actualize their money making venture in the party at the expense of victory for the party.


It is because of this that any person supported by Elder Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi(FCA) has always being in victory because he is sincere and straightforward.



Conclusively; We conscientiously call on the leadership of our party across board to disregard the article circulated by the divisional Chairman of the party and the wards' CHAIRMEN in Ofu LGA for peace and unity of party to reign supreme.
